DCAGC marks 62nd year on March 22

The Davao City Alliance Gospel Church (DCAGC) will celebrate its 62nd year this coming Sunday, March 22 with Missions Department Head Dr.
Prescilo Engkong as its invited guest speaker.

Dr. Engkong, a practicing OB-Gynecologist, will focus his discussion in the Book of Matthew chapter 6 verses 31 to 33. He will talk about
this particular verse during the Visayan, English, Tagalog and Vesper services of DCAGC.

According to Anniversary Committee Chairperson and Special Events Head Laila Lapi-an, this Sunday’s celebration will be a plain simple
worship and thanksgiving for reaching its 62nd year in the city.

As part of its preparation, she said the young teens and young people of the church will sing “We need each other” whlie the Alliance Men
Philippines will sing “Awitan ko si Hesus”. The Sanctuary Choir of DCAGC will also present a group singing entitled “A mighty fortress” whlie
some selected young teens and young people of the church will do some tambourine dances.

Lapi-an said the church administration is encouraging more people to join and be a part of the ministry of DCAGC family. “We need each other
as a family to reach our vision in 2010.”

Executive Minister Dr. Levi Quir will lead the thanksgiving and releasing of blessings to the congregation during the worship services.

To make the event more memorable and fun, the DCAGC family contributed some food or shared some cash to buy something to eat during the
fellowship in every worship services, Lapi-an said.

Meanwhile, the DCAGC family is encouraging everyone to keep praying for the complete healing of Cynthia “Cindy” Ponce, president of the
Alliance Women Philippines. She is still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Davao Doctors Hospital. She is scheduled for an operation but
she’s still feverish as of yesterday (March 17).
